Our team loves preparing the properties for the festive period with tasteful and homely decorations. Many of our larger properties have decorated Christmas trees, however the scope and style of the decorations is decided by the individual owners. From mid- November the German inspired Christmas market boasts a selection of crafts, delicious food and drinks in traditional wooden chalets. Set on the green of the famous Cathedral, it makes for the most picturesque festive day or evening.
‘He’s behind you!’ will be heard all across Devon’s beautiful theatres. With favourite classics from Hansel and Gretel to Cinderella, you’re bound to have some family fun.
Join in with the hundreds of barmy bathers in fancy dress braving the cold for a winter dip. This bonkers seaside town tradition is fun for all ages whether you’re taking the plunge or holding warm hot chocolate and towel.
Experience a truly magical trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway. The vintage carriages await at Queen’s Park Station, lit with thousands of lights both inside and out. Sit back and enjoy the show as you’re propelled through the Greenway tunnel and watch the lights sparkle on the River Dart. For those wishing to see Santa, book on to the Santa Express where you’ll be dazzled by Christmas spirit from a short panto, mince pies and mulled wine for the big kids!
