Each of our properties are selected to be part of Sweetcombe individually. We use our knowledge and experience to advise new owners on how the properties must be maintained and set up in order to provide self-catering accommodation. We only take on properties that are the equivalent of a Visit England 3 star and above. We ensure that all our properties have regular spot checks and an annual maintenance inspection at the end of each summer season to check that our exacting criteria is being maintained. The owners of our properties support our high standards and some have requested an assessment by Visit England to support our descriptions of their properties and to give further assurance to our guests.

Visit England uses a one to five-star rating. Reflecting our reputation for high standards of quality holiday accommodation, the ratings achieved for properties are all three star or higher.
The ratings for individual properties have been attained following a visit by Visit England’s assessor who will have confirmed the property meets an extensive list of minimum requirements which concurs with our own expectations for the home we offer.
